More Help
Parking
The kids actually caught this picture. When we pulled into Kroger a couple days ago we were pretty amazed to see this guy parked this way. He was in a handicapped spot, with a trailer, and people were literally having to pull around the 6 ft (or less) area he left behind him. Forget two cars trying to get by. And oh , BTW, he walked out of the store just fine to jump into his very nice truck with the very nice trailer hooked up to it - not even a limp.......
The Flowers
My hubby brought me home the most beautiful flowers a week or so ago. The best part though, was that he had Card with him and a couple of nights later Card and I were in Kroger getting a few things when he says "Mommy, we have to get Katie and Bella some flowers"! I love that my wonderful, thoughtful hubby is rubbing of onto my already thoughtful little man!
More Harris Visit
Harris Boys & Girls come to help....
The Harris boys and girls came to visit us last Sunday and work on the roof. Here are some of them - Zach, Card (not a Harris boy), Nathan, and Joel are pictured here. I am not sure if we have pictures of all of them... Will have to see if I have one with Noah or Andrew in it....
Katie and Eva sweeping up....
YES , This makes mommy very nervous....

Couple of things we learned during Ike
6o MPH sustained winds do not deter hummingbirds or lovebugs!
Chickens can weather 60+ MPH winds the one night they decide to roost in a tree instead of their hen house.....
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it, it really does fall.... sadly, this was the biggest tree (we have yet discovered!) on our property. Now that it has fallen, I can see that the trunk is bigger than I am tall!

God's handiwork
Future Fireman
Our little man has decided he wants to be a fireman when he grows up - we shall see what the Lord has in store for this hero.....meanwhile - we visited the library for story time and visited with the fireman last week.
Well, there really is a fireman in the suit...
Card and his friend Josh Kuritza
The hat weighs almost as much as him!
We are hoping sometime soon we can talk our friend Bill into letting us come to his fire station and take a grand tour
