And then we played some more

Sorry, but Card is so fast these pictures are a bit blurry!! He gets "hero points" for this I think...

Bella enjoys the ride

Daddy and Card

Mama and Jack hang out on the sidelines

And then they sleep...

Look - Its Elvis!!

On the run!!........

Trying to hide

Oh -we have a sighting! The ever popular, famous...yes, yes... it is The King!!!

Elvis lives right here at Frontier Farms.. he is disguised as a bantam rooster of all things....

Animals installment 2 - Chickens

Some of the ladies

The "garden chickens"...no I really don't care for them to hang out in the garden eating my tomatoes...but what do you do...Oh yea, get a goat!! We are "goat sitting" for a month and I bet they keep them out of the garden since they will be right next to it... hope we can keep THEM out of the garden!

The ever faithful Tessy - sitting on her 4th brood!! Yea Tessy!

Ron Paul...needs no further description...

Our animals....

In installments that is..
First off - the dogs. They are so important - we have found many a dead mole in the front yard and a couple of dead possums, lots of rats, and not to mention just how sweet they are... love you to death at 5am..just ask Will.....

This here is "Hunter Dog" Ginger. One time I was walking in the woods with my trusty Glock 40 and I here this loud crashing and tags jingling. I think "Great, that is one huge dog coming", so out comes the Glock and what whizzes past me? A deer with a wild eyed look and Ginger fast on its heals! She is not making a sound except for her tags... she probably blames us for not catching the deer - if it wasn't for those tags ya know........

Pippi - I wont tell you what Will calls her. She is the one he ran over a couple weeks ago - on accident so he says.....

Ahh, Lovely Lily - she needs no further description.....

Crazy Cookie - also needs no farther intro...
She really is a very sweet and loving dog. Will is just not fond of her and her mama (Pippi).

To nice a day....

We just could not stay inside today - it was 75 outside!

so we built sandcastles

drank the rain

finished the sandcastle

and what rainy day is not complete without a swim in the local pool......
dont worry, we cleared the pool for 30 minutes if we saw any lightening...

Fruits of the Labor

No laughing!!! Katie and I are taking a cake decorating class and this was our first cake...
Now the blue grass and all were us playing with the different peices...

We were very advanced and even tried some basketweave!

Time to dig in!

Jeez - she is at it again!

Bella was not happy...

now she is happy and Katie and Card are a scrooge...

Jack looks good here

and my little man has "personality" written all over him

Guess I will have to try again......

Hydramulcher (SP???)

Ok Mom - he is clearing our trail! Card could not wait for him to get here...then he did not want to get near the thing!

Eating trees

Story N Splash Time

Went to a pretty cute little story and splash time a couple weeks ago. Everyone had a good time and we even saw Aunt Ninny (Bobby's Sister) there! Since she lives in Cleveland, seeing her at a park in Conroe was a surprise - that woman is everywhere!

Jack watching all the going on's....

Bella watching all the going on's......

Bella joins in the going on's.....

Katie and Jack spending some quality time

I wish this picture would have focused better - it was so cute to see Card watching Jack who was watching me! Very sweet the love between these children - I love being their Mama!

The Grandma's

Nanny and Jack

Mimi and Jack

Another day in paradise

Bella likes to play "baby" so here she is sitting in Jack's highchair...although I guess it is technically Card's highchair passed down to Bella, passed down to Jack.....
Behind her is our "verse board" where we have our weekly Bible verse written out for everyone. I also started a weekly hymn memorization - this week is "Holy, Holy, Holy" - I have a book that we can study the story behind the hymn, the writer, and has ALL the stanzas.

Our little Jack..well, not really anymore! Weighing in at over 16 pounds these days!

The babies (we refer to Card and Bella as "the babies" or "the middles") love to feed Jack.

He enjoys it too!

His bib says it all - "Back off, these cheeks are loaded!"

4th of July

Katie made this beautiful cake for us and our visitors.....

Not the best pictures, but this is Dad-Dad helping the kids shoot of the fireworks..I think he kind of enjoyed it too....

Dad-Dad, Katie and Trenton in the background. Our good friends the Carikers came over to help us eat our cake and shoot our ammunition....

Bella enjoying the show (and her thumb...)
