This will be the first installment of a series of post with our trip to Pennsylvania. It was great fun and we thought we might make it a bi-annual trip...yes, we talked about that the week we were there relaxing in our host house (The Whitehill family was brave nice enough to take us in for a week)..that was before the trip home. Now we are thinking once every 8 years might just be enough for us..
Daddy set up a rolling entertainment center
See our 19 inch tv there in the left hand corner.
You know - we really did not watch it a lot. We listened to so many audio books though! I found that the kids were more ansy after watching something so we just decided that it was easier and nicer on everyone to just listen to our books. They really enjoyed it - we listened to The Black Stallion, Ralph S Mouse ( I would never recommend this book- that mouse has a very bad attitude), Ben and Me, Little House in the Big Woods, and Shiloh - I think that was all of them...
Loved this house on the Mississippi - beautiful view
Jack and Jay with the memory game I bought for the trip - they really enjoyed this
Thomas helping Katie with her stitching
at a State park we stopped at for lunch
They really liked this little pinecones
Jay thought we could not see him since he could not see us
I looked back at some point and saw these put together in the floor
really neat fence in Pennsylvania - this was at the Gettysburg battlefield
the houses up there are SO big!
Look - its a WAWA (only Christi will get this)
These neat old houses had their age printed on them! There was a town full of these!
eating lunch at Longwood Gardens
Bella found a friend
nice to see he does not act any better for Katie
The fountain at Longwood Gardens was fun for the kids

Everyone was super happy to take this
the "Big Hill"
on our host recommendation we went to a place called Boomers on a really nasty rainy day. The kids had a blast on the big indoor slides
Katie got a couple of pictures of some Amish buggies
