Childhood days....

Watching the kids playing the last couple of days has made me discover how thankful I am that I stay at home with them and see all their milestones. I love them learning God's word right at our breakfast table everymorning. Bella even has her own little Bible she likes to look at while we read. Card ask now everytime we sit to eat if we are going to read the Bible. I love watching them learn new things and how their face lights up when they "get it". Card has been asking for days now "why did God make ____" today it was apples, flowers, and spiders. He loves to sit and do "school" with Katie and I and is so proud to tell his daddy "Mommy and Katie and Card-Card did school today!". Speaking of daddy, we are missing him dearly today (he is at a Christian retreat until Sunday night). Bella and Card were so excited to see daddy when we got home- they thought surely he was here by now. Janis (a friend from church) was over last night until midnight and she can attest to the fact that all Bella did was ask where daddy was. She kept insisting that he was outside- I guess that is because he goes out every night to put away the ducks. It was so sweet. I am missing my dear husband also.....I am praying for him and his spirtual walk though as he goes through this. Well- I believe I have gone on enough
for the day. God Bless!

Card and Katie play house often on the front porch. They have pots and pans, etc.. and they sweep ALOT! Here Card is waking up to go to "school" or "work" - depending on if he is the child or daddy that day.....

Katie doing housework in the porch house....

This is another day -today actually- Bella is playing on the trampoline. Notice her hair- we laugh so hard at her running around with her hair sticking up. Katie is actually under the trampoline talking to her right now....

Katie loves to be the mommy and wear Bella in the Ergo- of course it takes me a few minutes to adjust it the next time I need to wear it....

we miss our daddy too, but you'll be blown away when he returns. Remind me Sunday to tell you about Rhea's 're-entry'.
I love the quiet days where we can reflect and be thankful! Sweet photos!
